My Story:
I have been baking for as long as I can remember. I used to stand on a chair making a mess that I would leave for my mum to clean up - nowadays I still make a mess, but I do clean up after myself, much to my mum’s relief! I made my first loaf of bread with my granny, making me realise how delicious homemade bread is. Those two incredible women taught me so much at such a young age.
Without a doubt, I am a country girl. I will always try to find time to walk our two cocker spaniels, Bramble and Bertie. As well as this, I work a few nights a week at the village pub making extra money where I can, most of which will be spent on ingredients or equipment!
Before I started “Millie’s Bakery” I completed a year and a half at university studying Wildlife Conservation and Ecology. However, when I made my sister’s wedding cake in February 2024, I decided I would be happier pursuing a career in baking. Following my dreams as they say!
Everything is handmade with love out of my family kitchen at home, therefore no two products are identical, however, I can promise a delicious taste in each mouthful.
